Let's ask the obvious question! Why choose me as your photographer? I pride myself in not only providing your wonderful images, but creating a memorable experience from the very first time we chat. My sessions are completely curated to each of my clients, so their photoshoot is truly all about them. How does this work? After you send me a message, we'll organise a time to meet via zoom or in person to get to know each other. We'll discuss what type of location would suit you, whether it's a couples shoot hiking up a mountain, a solo shoot dancing in the rain, or an engagement shoot in the comfort of your first home together. No matter what your ideaI shoot is, we will make it happen. After our session, you'll have timeless images you'll treasure forever, and a lovely experience you'll never forget.
My Style
Emotive - Artistic - Authentic - Romantic
I have a romantic, fine art, candid style. I love to capture those wonderful in-between moments during a shoot, and prefer to give my clients fun prompts in order to receive genuine reactions rather than posing them. However, I do recognise the importance of a few posed images in each shoot, so I often use the flow posing technique. This means I watch how you move on your own, see what positions you naturally rest in, and then tweak it a little. This technique makes sure that you're not only comfortable, but reflect yourself naturally. I use motion quite often in my images which is a fine art technique. This addition of movement adds emotion into a photo that a posed image sometimes can't compete with. You can expect to receive one or two of these artsy motion images in your gallery, but of course, the final decision on your images is up to you. My editing style is on the natural side with a bit of contrast and slight addition of vibrance. I often switch between moody tones and a brighter theme. Although I do love colour, making my images black and white always holds a special place in my heart. It can have such a classic, timeless look, or it can be film-like with lots of grain. Either way, I always create my black and white treatments from scratch based on the specific image and the story it conveys.
Mainly, I want my images to not only represent who you are, but how you feel; and for my couples, how it feels to be in love.
